Cute Army is an independent game studio created by programmer Renan K. Vieira and artist and animator Lucas Carvalho.

History

Early history

Renan K. Vieira and Lucas Carvalho met at Game Jam Plus 2018 and it was in this game jam that the first Cute Army game was born, Cute Army Savior. It was an excellent meeting for this pair of developers and with each new project, new challenges were developed, more learning and a lot of evolution. Since that Game Jam, this duo has never stopped developing for a Cute Army brand, creating characters, games, animations and products.

A Cat Story

Cute Army A Cat Story was created at the Global Game Jam 2019, and after the game jam we realized that the game had the potential to be a bigger game for us to publish on web platforms, so we put in a few more months of work to get the version we have today . We published in Armor Games and had excellent Reviews rated 8.5/10 and over 40k* plays. We also launched on the CrazyGames website, we have a grade of 9.2/10 and more than 50k* play. And today we have it released on the Poki site with 4.5/5 with over 125k* plays. (*The information was collected on 12/2021).

Crazy Party

This was another project that was born in a game jam, at Game Jam Plus 2019. After the end of Game Jam we continued with the development of this ambitious project due to our little experience with mobile games but an excellent opportunity in a little explored category, that of 2-player games on the same mobile. A journey of more than 15 months where the game underwent several changes in its structure, there were many challenges that led us to great learnings for today to have Crazy Party 3D launched on Google Play Store.

Hyper Casuals

In a conversation with Lion Studios about Crazy Party with Lion Studios came the opportunity to test the Crazy Party with them. After the tests were carried out we made a wonderful partnership with Lion Studios for prototype development.
